Yes, you can seed clover in the snow! With the snow and ice over the last week, we have been frost seeding clover into our pastures. Frost seeding is the process of broadcast seeding on existing pastures in late winter/early spring when the ground is still frozen. The freezing and thawing of the ground, plus the rainy spring, allow the seeds to germinate and take hold in the ground for stronger pastures this spring.
