Quick Sausage and Sweet Potato Skillet

This is an easy recipe that utilizes our ground sausage with sage!

Ingredients
- (1 lb) Breakfast Sausage (1)
- (peeled and cubed) 2 medium sweet potatoes
- (cored and cubed) 1 lg apple
- (peeled and diced) 1 medium sweet onion
- Pinch of dried thyme/dried parsley
- 1 tsp of ground cinnamon
- 1 TB pure maple syrup
Directions
In a deep skillet, brown the sausage.
Add in the sweet potatoes and sauté until fork tender.
Add in the apples, dust with parsley/thyme/cinnamon.
Cook until the apples are lightly soft.
Season with coarse salt/black pepper, to taste.
Remove from heat, drizzle with maple syrup.
Stir to combine.
This is a quick weeknight meal that utilizes healthy ingredients to make a simple dish.
